Default hello

If you are looking in oak park or skokie area... You may want to check out a school called Reinburg Elementary... Im a school bus driver their and i pick up special needs children between the ages of 2yrs old and up and its a very good school. Im still doing research myself on schools in chicago region for children with autism with having a four year old son myself with mild autism... If dont decide to move out further south of chicago, i will be applying for him to attend Reinburg as well...

From the age of 3 on the district is required to provide free and appropriate education and therapy. New Jersey is one of the best states in terms of services so I would assume your nephew would have an IEP. Once he moves to the district, has an address he can prove, he can get placed in a program. They'll base it on his New Jersey IEP and services.

I have an older special needs child and have been looking at the area. Many north shore districts have inclusive programs, which mean some of the kids do not have special needs (at least half usually) and will be good models for language and play for kids who struggle in those areas.
