A suspended license doesn't mean out of business, it just means a suspended license.

I had read somewhere that the owner was not planning on re-opening.

In any case, I say good riddance. That place is a disgrace to the city in more ways than one.

The funny thing is that even though I've lived in Lincoln Park and been past the Wiener's Circle thousands of times, but I've never actually eaten there. I did get shouted at by one of the workers once while my friend ordered something. So I guess I at least experienced the trademark rudeness.

Yep, that's the place. If you really feel nostalgic and want to be screamed at by Chicagoans, just stay stopped for a few seconds at a traffic light after it turns green.

ah, I was kind of hoping to go check out this place after someone posted the youtube vid in another thread. I can't decide if I would have cried or traded insults right back at them! honestly, I'm not sure if I could eat at these type of places; I'm rather sensitive. even Dick's looks tame compared to that place (and Dick's kind of intimidates me!)!
