My mother's maiden is Nelson, and then I saw a movie titled Half Nelson and I thought it sounded cool. It is also a grappling move used in Mixed Martial Arts.

Katzpur: The first three letters of my given name are 'Kat'. The last letter of my surname is 'z'. So, that's the 'Katz' part. The 'pur' just popped into my head as I was thinking of a user name some years back. I guess as long as people treat me nicely, I purr. I'd rather do that than fight. Like all 'katz', though, I know how to scratch and bite and do that from time to time, but only in self-defense.

I had thought maybe your maiden name was Nelson and maybe you used a hyphenated last name. It's funny how we come up with our own ideas about screen names.

Mine should be pretty obvious. I am an alcoholic who lives in Las Vegas.

That's three of us on the forum named Kathryn -- all spelled the right way!

LOL! I always wondered if "CantWait2Leave" was an obscure death wish! (Seriously.) I'm glad to hear it's just L.A. you want to leave!
