Ok I do not believe all this stuff about the anti Christ and Revelation is about today’s world but IF I did I would have to point a finger at the Military Industrial Complex that the prophet President Eisenhower warmed the people about in his farewell speech, yes I would call him a prophet because his words were very prophetic.
I see vast numbers of Christians in America being deceived by this anti Christ and its messengers, being told that the 865 and soon to be a 1000+ military bases around the world that costs over 102 billion per year to maintain is for their security and defense of their homeland.
At the height of the Roman Empire they only had 37 bases.
These Christians have even been tricked into thinking that the close to a million people that have been killed, wounded and uprooted from their homes in the 2 illegal wars of revenge, hate and aggression that we are currently involved in are only collateral damage.
Interesting there are millions of people around the world that are starving and dying from disease while our defense or should it be called offense budget costs billions and the wars that we are now fighting half way around the world for what they say is for our protection has cost us over a trillion dollars in the past ten years.
The numbers are staggering, indeed. Surely God will bring this military, bomb making world empire to an end. It will continue to be used to kill and make war on God's people all over the globe - but this destructive power will be destroyed by Christ. Keep hope alive, even in the midst of war. Let us trust in the grace and mercy of God regardless of our temporary exile in this corrupt planet.
Aisi,
the Christian's hope is for the day in which man will "learn war no more." Legoman's video really gives an idea of how man's fallen nature is still working strong. Maybe because that fallen nature's time is short.
The Gospel message is this:
"7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. 8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
There are many many people out there, looked down upon by the world (including Christendom), but who are precious in the Lord's eyes, because He knows their suffering, and He knows how much they desire His Judgements in ALL men's hearts, and for peace and righteousness to prevail. It has little to do with religious labels. These people are all over the world, and it will probably be they who will lead the world into the Kingdom of God on Earth.
"And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more." Isaiah 2.4, Micah 4.3

Chin up.
Heartsong
Heartsong, Ted, and all,
If you watch what is happening economically/politically in the U.S., the U.S. may not be around much longer, at least as we know it.
- $14 Trillion in debt - thats $14,000,000,000,000!
- debt is ever increasing, we can't even afford the interest payments
- involved in 3, possibly 4 futile wars (Afghanistan, Iraq, Lybia, and now potentially Yemen).
- privacy rights ever-increasingly being violated - police state mentality
- unemployment rising
- energy & food costs rising
And the Federal Reserve (which is neither Federal nor a Reserve) is printing money galore to feed this growing debt. This is why inflation has increased in the past couple years. This is going to lead to more increasing inflation and possibly hyperinflation. We need to be prepared - have extra food and supplies on hand, buy some silver or gold bullion if you can.
Research the topic. All fiat currencies eventually go to their intrinsic value of $0. This is tied into the NWO. Some of the conspiracy theories are true. Not all of them, but some of them. Its part of the deception.
War is the ultimate discipline to any government. If it can successfully meet the challenge of war, it will survive. If it cannot, it will perish. All else is secondary. The sanctity of its laws, the prosperity of its citizens and the solvency of its treasury will be quickly sacrificed by any government in its primal act of self-survival.
All that is necessary, therefore, to insure that a government will maintain or expand its debt is to involve it in war or the threat of war. The greater the threat and the more destructive the war, the greater the need for debt.
To involve a country in war or the threat of war, it will be necessary for it to have enemies with credible military might. If such enemies already exist, all the better. If they exist but lack military strength, it will be necessary to provide them the money to build their war machine. If an enemy does not exist at all, then it will be necessary to create one by financing the rise of a hostile regime.
The ultimate obstacle is a government which declines to finance its wars through debt. Although this seldom happens, when it does, it will be necessary to encourage internal political opposition, insurrection or revolution to replace that government with one that is more compliant to our will. The assassination of heads of state could play an important role in this process.
No nation can be allowed to remain militarily stronger than its adversaries, for that could lead to peace and a reduction of debt. To accomplish this balance of power, it may be necessary to finance both sides of the conflict. Unless one of the combatants is hostile to our interests and therefore, must be destroyed, neither side should be allowed a decisive victory or defeat. While we must always proclaim the virtues of peace, the unspoken objective is perpetual war.
There are definitely plenty of bad people in the world. Always were, since the dawn of man.
With the expansion of Christ's kingdom, that can be done away with in time.
This is my hope for my family's future.
In Revelations 13: 4.....``And they worshiped the dragon which gave power to the beast, and they worshiped the beast saying ...Who is like the beast?.. Who is able to make war with him?........See this beast is anti-christ how do we be not like him ?.... We obey the commands that Jesus gave ........ How do we make War with this dark spirit and his authority in the World ? Let Jesus do this through our prayers by Jesus blood and give honor to Jesus Words .....

Beautifully said, Brian.
and I agree... it has NOTHING to do with religious labels.
Isaiah 11:9 - They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain, for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.
A flood of love.
