It is certain that you who are more learned can find the passage...When Paul suggest that people should submit to government because the government was installed by God...it really makes no sense..if there is a corrupt and horrific government..that abuses the population it is very doubtful that God put that in place...Paul was very political in his thinking - I just can not believe that God has a political mind.

Also to add:

Aramaic is the ancient language of the Semitic family group, which includes the Assyrians, Babylonians, Chaldeans, Arameans, Hebrews, and Arabs. In fact, a large part of the Hebrew and Arabic languages is borrowed from Aramaic, including the Alphabet. The modern Hebrew (square) script is called "Ashuri", "Ashuri" is the Hebrew name for Assyrian, the name being used to signify the ancestor of the Assyrians, Ashur the son of Shem, the son of Noah (Genesis 10:22). Aramaic is quoted in the very first book of the Bible, Berisheth (Genesis) in Chapter 31:47. In fact, many portions of the Old Testament are penned originally in Aramaic, including Daniel chapter 2:4 thru chapter 7.

You do know that chapters and verses are a Medieval invention, don't you?...

There are NO original transcripts, so they are all translations, hearsay, and/or fabrications.

But since they are used to describe the exact portion of scripture one refers to they come in handy. Are you saying because they did not exist in the original text you cannot use them to show what portions of the bible you reject? If we had the same bible from the same publisher would you reject my use of page numbers to show you which portions of scripture I am talking about?

Perhaps but what does that have to do with my asking for those who claim parts of the bible are wrong or not to be accepted to tell us which ones specifically an use the common method of identifying a passage of scripture? It seems as though you want to change the subject and avoid the question.

- Yes I find that very true.

There is a Baptist Pastor who is filling in till we get another Pastor.
And he is very unhappy with me right now as you can imagine
because I'm showing up to his so called bible study.
Please pray for us. Thanks.

Excuse me, Faith, but did you really think through this post before you made it? We have no original documents. Absolutely ever Bible scholar on the face of the earth today will tell you that. You don't have to believe your Bible (regardless of which translation you use) was translated from the original document as penned by Paul or anybody else in order to believe the Bible is the word of God. You sound almost desperate to convince people (maybe including yourself) that we have the originals when we don't. This shouldn't shake your faith. I hope it doesn't.
