So many of you want to claim the bible is not all God's word or some variation of it not being something we should follow. Please tell us what parts of the bible is not to correct? Which part is wrong? Which part must we reject? Be specific and give book, chapter and verse of the parts of the bible you reject and why.
It is certain that you who are more learned can find the passage...When Paul suggest that people should submit to government because the government was installed by God...it really makes no sense..if there is a corrupt and horrific government..that abuses the population it is very doubtful that God put that in place...Paul was very political in his thinking - I just can not believe that God has a political mind.

But since they are used to describe the exact portion of scripture one refers to they come in handy. Are you saying because they did not exist in the original text you cannot use them to show what portions of the bible you reject? If we had the same bible from the same publisher would you reject my use of page numbers to show you which portions of scripture I am talking about?

Perhaps but what does that have to do with my asking for those who claim parts of the bible are wrong or not to be accepted to tell us which ones specifically an use the common method of identifying a passage of scripture? It seems as though you want to change the subject and avoid the question.
Good job. It's sad that people would rather believe a lie over the truth as spoon fed into them by their elders, pastors, religious publications (which are opinions too), and not investigate the bible for themselves.

There is a Baptist Pastor who is filling in till we get another Pastor.
And he is very unhappy with me right now as you can imagine
because I'm showing up to his so called bible study.

Excuse me, Faith, but did you really think through this post before you made it? We have no original documents. Absolutely ever Bible scholar on the face of the earth today will tell you that. You don't have to believe your Bible (regardless of which translation you use) was translated from the original document as penned by Paul or anybody else in order to believe the Bible is the word of God. You sound almost desperate to convince people (maybe including yourself) that we have the originals when we don't. This shouldn't shake your faith. I hope it doesn't.
