Israel was not set aside at Pentecost yet. The Jewish believers still went to the temple in Jerusalem. The temple was not abandoned until 70 A.D. when it was destroyed. The Jewish believers were the diaspora.
Once Israel was set aside THEN the body of Christ was comprised of Jews and Gentiles who came over to Paul's different evangel from Peter's.
You can't ignore the context of each verse. As
an example in context 1 Timothy is ONLY referring to men, not anything
else.
Context
Actually, 1 Timothy 2:4 has "anthropous" which is plural for "HUMANS" in the Greek. You know, that's where we get Anthropology. It's the study of mankind.

Pentecost was stickily an event for the nation of Israel. The gentiles had not yet been given the gospel. That would come after the Jews final rejection of their Messiah and they were set aside for a time. The church is not Israel. Israel will have their kingdom one day.

I just tell it like it is. Many people accept some truth so most will agree with me as some point in time. I just have to speak the part of the truth they accept.
I realize it is probably futile . . . but I have to ask. Can YOU tell me how you can choose to believe something you do not believe??? Perhaps give an example or whatever? I cannot conceive of anyway to make that happen . . . yet you and so many others would accuse people of choosing NOT to believe in God as if it IS a choice. Can you explain that, Robin???
Choose to believe something I do not believe? What are you talking about? Plenty of people choose not to believe because no amount of revelation from God can soften their hardened hearts.
God changed me while I was unchangeable. Am I upset God violated my inability to seek Him? Not at all.
All this talk of "I did this" and "I did that" and "I made all the right choices therefore God owes me salvation" is just not in the bible. As a matter of fact, Paul says our salvation is such that "no one can boast."
If you truly believe God is going to fry men, woman and children in fire for even a minute, your conscience is seared as with a hot iron.
Do you read the Bible? Do you have the Holy Spirit to interpret it for you? Wouldn't it be a logical conclusion that hell, whether fire and brimstone or eternal loops of Strawberry Shortcake or whatever would be considered eternal torment to someone would obviously be separation from God.
What are you talking about? I never said God would fry you or anyone, but separation from God would be a logical outcome considering God cannot bear sin and if you die in your sins you are separated from God of your own choosing and enter your own hell of your own making.
