As much as I have been learning that what we call consciousness may be an artifact of how our brain cross references its thoughts, it is true that the Holy Spirit, at least, is a consciousness. While we may be made more of our own bias toward self-aggrandizement, He is all the while attempting to teach us another way of looking at things. He has other characteristics. He can inhabit people. Before He came upon Jesus, there were rules that came with His presence. The people He came upon could not drink, for instance, or they would lose the Spirit. When the Spirit came upon Jesus, there were no such rules.
What made Jesus different? He was begotten of God. The Holy Spirit came upon Mary. So, when Jesus went around saying He and His Father were one, wasn't He openly telling them about the mystery of the kingdom, which was how He expected that the indwelling of His Spirit would change mankind, when He poured Him out upon them. But to do that you have to get past the basic relationship the Spirit can have with a man. He will have to inhabit each person more deeply than if He were going to be leaving them if they took a drink. How else is God going to be effective in people's lives unless He can be right there with them while they go through whatever it is they have to go through? Between the crucifixion and the resurrection, something happened. After that happened, when the Spirit fell at Pentecost, there were no longer any rules that came with His presence. Was that because the Spirit had become more flexible? Was God no longer looking at the people's sin, but at the people?
Only the converted can understand the true meaning of the Bible. The commandments are different. Everyone can understand the law. But the law was intended for Jews. The Bible is intended for all because God's will is that all become Christians.

Diversity is the best teacher, not that of being a clone.

The word of God was written on the hearts of men. That is the method God used for writing the Bible.
We know it's true because our own hearts confirm it.
Were did G-d say that He did that?...
