If that's what you believe then you may be following a spirit that is real. But one that is also false and deceptive.

I don’t see anything false or deceptive about this Spirit

Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith,
Gal 5:23 meekness, self-control. Against such things there is not a law.

Answer to OP:

Because god didn't write it, man did....this should explain the contradictions, too

But that is not a command that just anyone can follow by his own will. Without faith you will not understand any of those things, but can only imagine each one in a very weak approximation.

The only living and breathing Spirit is the Comforter sent in Christ's name to guide us to the Truth God has "written in our hearts," NOT in words "written in ink." The letter kills but the Spirit leads to eternal life.

Have you not read that Jesus said You Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. This is where you are at, you think they are living and breathing, but you are wrong in think that, the one they testify of, is the life breathing Spirit.
At least returning to bible fundamentalism try and know what the scriptures actually say given the place of importance you have bestowed upon them

This is my beloved bible in whom i am well pleased does not have the same ring to it ?

Ozzy, I certainly believe the Holy Scriptures are prophetic, metaphoric, allegoric- full of signs about the times, days, seasons, years

But if you approach them with the wrong spirit you will not get the full value of them - there is a need to be selective and have the right attitude

That is so ridiculous that it doesn't make sense. How can anyone respond?

It's obvious that you guys are SEARCHING the scriptures on a frequent basis. You know in your hearts that they contain the truth, yet you also reject them at the same time.

You guys have a strange love/hate relationship with the Bible.

Lol, i use the scriptures for your sake not mine. When you are rooted and established in the great truth(reality) that you are loved of God, always have been and always will be then you are in the best place to hear the Spirit and discern what is of the Father and what isn't. You are basically saying if you never had a bible we could not know God. Tell me how the Patriarchs knew God then ?.
Again you are lying about what my relationship to the scriptures is, simply put it is not your take on it.
