I weep when I see people are attacked and accused for their desire to obey God.

I am familiar with crocodile tears.

God weeps when fundamentalist ideologues use God as a weapon to control the lives, and free will of your brothers and sisters in the community.

This should make you weep.

"Wardendresden----Yes, DewDropInn, and I've posted one story of a fundamentalist couple that tried to force their son to "pray the gay" away, kept him going to prayer groups that told him how evil homosexuality was, and enlisted their pastor in badgering their son.
He killed himself. Those fundamentalists--and the story claimed by EVERY SINGLE fundamentalist---is a death sentence for too many.
That fundamentalist couple admitted they were wrong and their church was wrong. They formed an online help center for other fundamentalist families struggling to make the religion they've been taught and the obvious same sex attraction of their children to reconcile. Unfortunately, their churches tell them their is no reconciliation. In other words, their god is too small for their family and their church.<Snip>
I'm glad I worship a God with a big heart and wide arms that, if they could encompass me, they could even encompass those fundamentalists trying to kill their children with religion."

Then you have something in common with your brothers and sisters in the LGBTQ community. You should feel their pain. You should consider them with all that weeping you do.

Isn't their duty first as foremost is to do the job they were elected or hired to do? Do you beleive that when you go into a government office for a service whether or not you get it should depend on what the beleif of a clerk or officer is? If you do support government employees and elected officials refusing to serve certain groups would you limit the types of services they can refuse or would you support all goverment officals and employees being able to discrimiante for any service?

Elected? I am talking about regular Christians who are targets of constant smear attacks on this board.

Can you imagine the chaos the nation would fall into if every type of "religious" belief affected what service would be provided to buyers in the commercial arena, and government services in the public arena?

These SO-CALLED christians would be a riot of laughter if it were not for the disruption they wish to cause in so many lives with plain stupid proposals.

OK I thought you were defending the clerk. From my view much of the attacks on Christians is from other Chirstians and many of the Christians cannot seem to accept who is and who is not a Christian. There are some Christians whose posts are attacked because they keep repeating the same claims that have been debunked in other threads but they keep making them. Some non beleievers do attack the beleifs of believers in a mocking manner and also some Christians here seem to equate any disagreement with them as an attack on their religion.

I think you would sound more accurate if you dropped the constant out of your statement.
