Or maybe Paul is saying what you don't think.

You have no clue what Paul is saying, jimmie. Your posts have made that abundantly clear.

Faithful is this saying and deserving of universal acceptance: and here is the motive of our toiling and wrestling, because we have our hopes fixed on the ever-living God, who is the Saviour of all mankind, and especially of believers. 1 Tim 4:9- 11

Paul was not toiling to get folk saved to heaven but for them to know that they are saved and in knowing it their experience would be heaven. Thy Kingdom come in me is heaven.

Dear pc,
Paul is all things to all men, and what each man hears from him, depends on the individual. Paul is simply the son of the great deceiver/"enemy" (Mt 13:25). Paul was simply the one who sowed the seeds of the tares. Now that we are at the "end of the age" (Mt 13;40), those tares will be "gathered up" and cast into the "furnace of fire" (Mt 13:42).

The tares are described better in Mt 13:41 and Mt 13:49, as "those who commit lawlessness" and the "wicked".

Wrong. He is writing to the "church at Corinth". If you really want to be that specific, then you should not twist the words of the Bible.

Maybe his letter was addressed to people who already knew Paul. Maybe some of the names and symbols he used referred to real things that he and his readers were aware of. He even refers to other things (outside of his letters) when he writes them sometimes. Don't ask me for examples of this, because if you need to be told what I'm talking about, then you should go back and read your Bible more. Do your own homework. You have no business arguing about the Bible if you don't know what is in it.

The fact that people can try to teach and preach about things that they don't have the full knowledge of is scary. Yet these people seem to have no fear in trying to do that, and in trying to run other people's lives.

Maybe this is what orthodox Christians have been doing for thousands of years. Some churches, like the Southern Baptist even teach that any preacher can interpret the Bible as he chooses. Maybe orthodox Christians as a group have been wrong for thousands of years. Maybe everything that they have said or written should be discounted.

The good news is not believe in Jesus Christ and you will escape eternal hell and neither is it believe in Jesus Christ and you will go to heaven. Both are the most shallow beliefs of all religions that out are out there.

The Bible doesn't teach that all will be saved. On the contrary, it specifically states that those that don't believe are condemned already.
Staying on the level and being fair to all, the phrase of non believers being "condemned already" is not what the ET crowd thinks.(Keeping it fair, the words stating Jesus is the savior of the world is being equally abused by the US crowd)

Truth is no one is sentenced to anything for this life until AFTER they have taken their last breath.

What condemned already" is about is any non believer in the gospel of Jesus Christ is still under the condemnation of death the same as "in Adam all men die"

For man to escape this condemnation they must enter into the resurrection of faith in the truth of Jesus that is not our resurrection as much as it is the resurrection of Jesus Christ in us through us being born again of the Holy Spirit.

Ever since the fall in the garden man has been condemned to death and every day of their life the serpent continues to destroy their physical body (serpent condemned to having to eat dust all the days of his life).

God calls things as though they are even though they are not yet. Most Christians are quick to claim the righteousness imputed to their account even though they still commit sins. On the other hand those who are non-believers are already dead before God because man is under a sentence of death ever since they were first conceived in their mother's womb. This will not change until through Jesus they may pass from death unto life through the "free gift of salvation". Then they become a part of "especially those who believe" crowd who through faith have access unto the grace of God.

This is why there appears to be 1000 years between the first and second resurrections in Re. 20 when there is not. Every day a person is alive is for them a "day of salvation but when they die it has become their day of judgment for better or for worse. Because a "day is as a 1000 years and a 1000 years is as a day is why most churches miss the mark of the truth concerning the two resurrections. The first resurrection is when we believe in Jesus and receive the Holy Spirit while the second resurrection is when we all physically die at some point in time. and are all resurrected alive unto judgment. Clergy who teach two resurrections 1000 years apart are teachers who still need to be taught the truth of the basic foundations of the doctrines of Christ as listed in Heb.6:1-3 KJV. Because this is necessary knowledge before one can be fully sanctified these false teachers will be charged for the failures of their flock to overcome sin and receive the fullness of their inheritance as a member of the family of God. IMO 99.9% of the evangelical churches are guilty of this

Death that is separation from the righteousness of God is the result of sin, but sin that is the sting of death is because when separated from God there is no defense against satan and sin

People think they do not sin because of their ability, but this is not true. The sins that people do not do is only because God has limited what satan can do against them, (such as he did for Job) not because they are more resilient than satan is evil.

When David said, "I walk through the valley of death and fear no evil because the Lord is my shepherd" it is because the Lord and not David is preparing the path that David will take............ in the Lord's prayer this is God's response to "deliver us from the evil world".

Blessings

Feel free to believe whatever you want, but if you want the truth, it can be found in John 3 16: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

The Bible repeats important things, and this particular teaching is so important it is repeated some 200 times. There is no room for misunderstanding it. Whoever believes in Him is saved. It's that simple.

The enemy (Satan) wants you to believe the 200 repetitions is a lie, and he wants you to believe something else instead. He dangles one misunderstood, and out of context verse in front of your eyes and he says "ignore the rest and believe this, you shall surely not die". He said it before, and he also twisted scripture before in order to deceive.

Saved from what and to?. I will not have it that believing you are saved from eternal hell or saved to heaven caused something within you that can be called salvation in the present moment. Both beliefs about heaven and hell do not change you one iota. Now(the present moment) is the day of salvation, because now is all we have. Both beliefs do a disservice to the message of Jesus Christ, whose message(not your heaven and hell message) when believed, cause a movement of God within you.
