I never heard of the possibility of Franklin being gay, but he definitely fathered an illegitimate son. William Franklin was the last colonial governor of New Jersey, and remained a Loyalist, causing irreconcilable differences with his Patriot daddy. We've got at least three towns named for him.

AIDS is caused by a virus. Microbes don't differentiate between the sexual orientation of their hosts.
Who makes the virus? God sent AIDS to judge the ungodly. Sin comes with a price; it's not free as people would believe.
I don't agree that AIDS or any other disease is a judgment of God. Thinking that way opens the door for justification of mistreatment of a group of people.
