What do most white christian people feel about Jesus maybe being black? What if he was? Would it be like cool or would it be like oh no, maybe we have to become jewish or somethin now cuz we can't be down with that. Peace.
Well given that he was born in the middle east he surely was not white, blond haired and blue eyed.
He probably had a the look of a man from the middle east.... Maybe even black..... Why would that be surprising???

it would be hurtful to white people, due to the fact that they have had a white Jesus for about 300 years now, who they claim was God,
now we as people of color, had to look at that fake picture, never cring about it, just dealing with it.
The scriptures saids, those who were last will become first and those who were first will become last.
now white people been first and making the pictures of God, now the last group of people will have there chance.
the only difference with this is that it will not be a black picture of Jesus, it will be the true color of Jesus as a dark color man.
God always builds a people up (the wrong doers) than will make them hate what they created.
They created the image of God when God said not too, now they cant seem to get away from thos color issue of Jesus and no matter what they say, the real Jesus will be BLACK.
I don't know. My Mom is white of Belgian/Dutch ancestry. (Way back, they left during Napoleon or so) When she was repainting her statue of Mary she waited because all she had was pinkish paint and she felt something "browner" was needed.
I think a good many white Christians now accept that Jesus's appearance was probably closer to a Mideastern Jew or Lebanese person than a "white guy." Going by some sources it's possible Jesus had curly hair in the way some Jewish men do. He was also likely below the current average height for men. (I don't think he was particularly short by their era's standards though as the shortness of Zacheus was mentioned so shortness would also have been worthy of comment)
My best guess would be he was 5' 3''-6'' "olive-skinned" Jewish man. I think "black" is unlikely, but if that's how it turned out that's fine.

He was brown.
If Adam kind had not been divided by the confounding of the mother tongue, then the tribes would not have separated as they scattered over the globe, and would not then have isolated the gene pool into the groups it became isolated in. Then families would have had mixed color children, as it was before the confounding of the tongue and subsequent scattering of the tribes.
In 1 Enoch, in the dream visions, Cain was black, Abel was red. Adam was red, and Noah was white, and Noah had a white son, a black son and a red son. Sarah was white, Hagar was black, Abraham was brown/red.
There are parents in England who have had two sets of twins, each set has one white and one black twin.
If you haven't seen it already you should watch the great movie "Dogma" which is a comedy and really offends a lot of fundies. In the movie, Chris Rock plays a dude named "Rufus, the unknown 13th Apostle" and he's always going on about how Jesus WAS black, but they hushed it up--just like they never mentioned Rufus, sicne he was black.
The best line form Rufus: when asked "So..you really knew Jesus Christ?"
Rufus: "Knew him? N i g g e r owes me twelve dollars!"
then people of african decent would have been exhaulted instead of enslaved--i would think...

No one who is complaining about color of slaves in western nations and who is black or brown, themselves, can really boast of being free from ancestors who were slave traders and owners, themselves, because it is not a color issue, but a by-product of the fallen nature of Adamkind.

You would like to believe that story but it is only tainted with false teaching, I spend much time with it becuase you need to believe how you believe.
go back to anicent kemet, (egypt) look inside of the prymaids and see if you see any slaves being hung or burned, because of their color.
You wont find it, the slaves were workers, yes some of them got beat and abused, but they never left kemit, to go to another nation in enslave another race of people.
Unlike the west they took evil to a whole different level.

most of the white people have a problem with the whole issue, so the best statement to deflect the topic is "it does not matter"
to them it does, except a few, well stay tune because everything started from that part of the world, all the Prophets came from the darker part of the world, call it what you want, you are coming closer by saying Jesus was olive color, still not true, but they are moving away form Jesus being a white man.
In time Jesus will become darker as it is his true color.
To me, one of the most amusing things about Jesus probably being of darker complexion is the fact that most fundamental Christians expect to actually see him at some point in the not-so-distant future. Of course, the amusing part being that he'd probably resemble someone who, in simple-minded America, would more closely represent a suicide bomber than their savior. Imagine the look of astonishment on everyone's face when they realize their savior looks more like Muhammad Atta than the Europeanized, pale-skinned, blue-eyed, grungy, hippy looking Jesus represented in our society. I wonder how many would convert to Islam thinking that Muhammad was the figure in the clouds and not Jesus?
Real Isrealites are not in Isreal now so we cant compare him to the the Jews of Rev 2:9 but most likely he was black being in Egypt his early childhood years. We know white folks cant live in the sun like that. God uses the foolish things of the world to confound the wise and saying he is black would be foolish to the wise people of this world.
