Sadness is a part of life, as is joy. Death, pain, sadness and suffering is a part of the penalty for Adam's sin, which we all must pay.

Finn_Jarber, do you believe Jews who died in a holocaust are in hell, and if yes, why was Hitler wrong in torturing them in Auschwitz? He just decided to start torturing them a little earlier than your God. Only a tiny fraction of them would convert to Christianity before death anyway.

You can sit back and tell every parent of every dead unbeliever that their sons and daughters are in heaven, but us believers have a duty to tell people the truth.

And don't spin my words. I said it would be tactless to bring it up right after the death of their son, because it is obviously the worst timing possible. I never said you should never bring it up.
EXACTLY!! The point is to bring it up when people are still alive and have a change to give their lives to Christ.

Yes, Katonjj.....while YOU CAN KNOW THE OUTCOME! There is a way you can know.

We where talking about judgment, and people being held accountable. And I notice you skipped my Hitler argument.

I'm sorry for your loss Brian ... God be with you friend, and i pray with his other loved ones.

Just imagine when the Gospel was first preached to the gentiles. Imagine Paul telling a person who was hearing the gospel for the first time that all of his loved ones who had already died without accepting Christ as their savior were being tortured in hell for ever ... Somehow i don't think Christianity would have gotten very far to begin with if that was the case.

As far as the parents of your friend, maybe you should pray about it ...

God bless ...

Hitler pretty far off topic, isn't it?

(I'm quite sure he never "accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior.")

Any thoughts?
Should I tell his parents he went to heaven or hell?

Blessings to all,
brian

Tell them his name was written in heaven before he was born!!

ALSO tell them he did NOT believe or know about the statement below by SDA Prophet EGW !

Jesus DOES NOT intercede for non-Adventists!!!

"I saw that as the Jews crucified Jesus, so the nominal churches had crucified these messages [of the Investigative Judgment & 1844 events], and therefore they have NO knowledge of the way into the most holy, and they cannot be benefited by the intercession of Jesus there. Like the Jews, who offered their useless sacrifices, they offer up their useless prayers to the apartment which Jesus has left; and Satan, pleased with the deception, assumes a religious character, and leads the minds of these professed Christians to himself ...
