Totally agree. Even the other Texas cities will bash S.A.

Californians are the best CA-bashers because they actually live there and know what they're bashing. This makes them unlike CA-bashers outside of CA who bash their own perceptions and stereotypes of CA, which are derived mostly from what they see on their TV's and read on the www.

CA is bashed by the adjacent western states partly because they get such an influx of former-CA residents driving up the cost of living and because they're jealous of how CA has such a concentration of assets- mountains, beaches and mover & shaker places such as Hollywood and the Silicon Valley. There are few cities or places in the inland western states that, other than as tourist destinations or as landmarks, are worth mentioning. Hoover Dam? Grand Canyon? Should I care?..

CA is bashed by the SE because it is the antithesis of the SE- liberal, nonconformist, progressive and trend-setting. Those attributes raise Southerners' ire. Ironically, CA is barely aware that the SE exists.
Ug, ah, that's so true, we are jealous in AZ for sure. You get here and you're rich from your Cali house sale, and we go there and wish we had your beach, and cool people.
The only green in Phoenix is the envy we have for Cali. lol
No fair, no fair, no fair. lol lol lol
You're bigger, cuter and richer than us,

New Yorkers have infiltrated the place. It's weird, it's like "Why live there then?" "Why put yourself through the misery?"
