Oh Boy! I'm going to let let Dallas and Houston duke it out while I take a leisurely trip down Peachtree street serenaded by three Atlanta (or atleast Atlanta inspired) musical acts.
So by going by this source I guess LA should also have its metro divided correct? All I read was that people travel long distances to work in LA, Detroit, and DFW, so what, you're not proving anything.
Who said Dallas and Fort Worth should be separated? They started as two different metro areas, but grew into one, due to proximity. That's obvious. Most of the sprawl in LA is there because of LA. That's not the case in DFW.

I guess that's why Houston grew faster than DFW this decade, without the challenge numbers for the City of Houston. Both metro areas have things over the other, but you really make Dallas look bad.
