I agree. All big cities should have a Basketball and Football team. Baseball is not as popular as it was 100 years ago when it was America's Sport, but if I would add a third I would add that.
But Hockey??? who cares.
Looking at the map it seems that Hockey is more of a NE and Canada thing.
NHL:
NBA:
NFL:
MLB:
This one is coming up, I dunno why it took so long for the US to catch up with the rest of the world.
MLS:
Is Miami the only major latin city in the US to not have a Soccer team?? I would think Miami would be all up on that. Would think Soccer would be more popular there than Hockey. Same with Phoenix
Miami is a terrible sports city. They had an MLS team but it was contracted.

Miami and Phoenix will get teams eventually. Maybe even San Antonio.
When I first moved to the Dallas area I was thinking to myself whether or not the area felt as big as it actually was. Then when you begin driving around and see that it goes on and on and on you are assured that it is a huge area! The core of Dallas is pretty compact which makes it seem smaller than Houston that has other areas strung out. People in Houston and Atlanta talk about how they have multiple skylines, but I think people forget or dont realize that DFW has multiple areas with highrises as well.
Yeah, there are a couple of areas. Downtown/Uptown Dallas, Dallas Galleria area/Addison area, Las Colinas, and Downtown Fort Worth being the most notable. The highrises just aren't really that tall, but there are definitely buildings all over the North Dallas side.

For sure and I think people fail to mention the high rises in Preston Center and all along the Central Expressway up to the Park Central highrise area. Richardson, Plano and Frisco have some nice suburban highrises as well.

A few years ago I started watching English Premiership Soccer on Satellite TV and it did two things for me.
Made me like and appreciate English Soccer.
Made me have even less interest in MLS (if that's possible) because now I realize how poor quality it is in comparison to European soccer. No wonder they like soccer so much more than we do.
North Tollway has high rises all the way from downtown into Frisco. Same with 75.
Not sure if I agree here. North Tollway has highrises from 635 up to PGBT. There aren't any highrises on it before 635 after leaving Downtown Dallas (it goes through the Park Cities). Then in Plano, it's the typical suburban midrise buildings. There are a couple in Frisco also (mostly hotels). After CityPlace, there aren't any highrises along 75 really until you get to the High 5. After that, there are a few before you get to PGBT. In Plano and Allen, there is nothing.
I know that Attendance for the Revolution has gone down, but they team has been around since the start of the MLS, it is one of the more established teams.
Houston Dynamos has a playoff attendance rate of between 20k-30K for the first 4 years of its existence. We sadly didn't make the Playoffs last year.
Like it or not, Soccer is the World's Most Popular Sport
