  • Six Flags over Texas
  • Fort Worth zoo
  • Texas Motor Speedway
  • Dallas zoo
  • Hurricane Harbor
  • State Fair of Texas
Now I know most of these are family attractions but they do have more recognition atleast in this state than pretty much anything else in Houston.
How the hell does the majority of that stuff make Dallas more known. Don't you mean more of tourist attraction??

Oh Boy! I'm going to let let Dallas and Houston duke it out while I take a leisurely trip down Peachtree street serenaded by three Atlanta (or atleast Atlanta inspired) musical acts.

Who said Dallas and Fort Worth should be separated? They started as two different metro areas, but grew into one, due to proximity. That's obvious. Most of the sprawl in LA is there because of LA. That's not the case in DFW.

I didn't think so, look you Houstonians have a few things that would make DFW a better place such as being close to a large body of water, or having major trading port, other than that we have you guys on name recognition, tourist destinations, LRT, and also population, you guys can try and slice up the metroplex all you want but you guys are failing to make anyone a believer except for yourselves.
I guess that's why Houston grew faster than DFW this decade, without the challenge numbers for the City of Houston. Both metro areas have things over the other, but you really make Dallas look bad.

Funny thing is, MOST of that stuff isn't even in Dallas.
