And Miami's winters are better than L.A.s, and the beaches are vastly better.
Are you serious? I wouldn't want to see 80F in December. No Miami's winters are not better than LA. I'd rather see 55-60F in December. When is the weather in Miami actually good???

Some people would love 80F in December, I know I would.
Best: NYC, Boston: All 4 distict seasons. Winter is harsh, but not as bad as inland locations.
Also, Seattle could be in this group, but winter is a little too dreary. Honolulu is best for year-round weather because summers aren't as oppressive as anywhere along the Gulf, but winters don't get as chilly as SoCal and summers are warmer in Honolulu than coastal SoCal.
Worst: Alaska, Minnesota, Montana, Wyoming, North and South Dakota, Idaho
Winters are f***ing freezing!!! Besides Alaska, the summers are too dramatically different than winter
I enjoy Socal weather because it's a little bit on the warmer side from Norcal. However my vote goes to San Jose because it's the closest I can get to Socal weather in The Bay Area imo. Average high in January is 60 deg with a average low of 41 and the average high in July is 84 deg. with a low of 57. San Jose also experiences 300 days of sunshine.
Worst weather for me would be anywhere where it snows. I can't handle anything below 40 degrees.

Yea just watch out for the flash floods and typhoons.Probably not the best time to hype the Philippines weather... Don't get me wrong it's a lovely place I have many friends who visit each year but the weather is crazy there.

San Jose, Santa Barbara, Santa Monica all the way. Outside of CA how about Las Cruces,NM or Sedona,AZ and on the east coast pick a seaside location between St Augustine,FL and Wilmington,NC
Nah. LA's still the best. It's 82* here at the beach and its mid/late october. For those of you who said Miami, you guys are also idiots. You like the warm weather in the summers...well we have that in LA also, but in Miami, where it is also 82*, the humidity is so high that it feels like 90*. That is not something I would consider pleasant, nor would most other people.
The only downside is that there are a dozen fires burning here in LA becuase of the high winds, high temps, and low humidity.
Yeah, no kidding! Of course LA has better weather than Miami. I had to reply to this post because it is just so funny and true. When the humidity is in the 80% range for example, you will be sweating too much. About the brush fires, yes it is unfortunate that we have them but people in FL have to worry about floods and possibly losing their homes. And another thing, 8 months of hot humid weather = yuck. Right now where I am it will be a nice 75F while the high in Miami is going to be up to 91F WITH humidity. Good post here!
