It's amazing to me how much more dangerous this country was in the 70's and 80's (there goes the Conservatard argument of "Entitlement" and "Everyone is a victim" mentality raising the violent crime level) than it is now...

If "entitlement" and "the Victim Mentality" is to blame for violent crime than the Millennials are the least entitled and least likely to see themselves as victims generation we have ever seen....

Truth hurts doesn't it Tea Baggers??

That's been the driving force of Homicides since the dawn of time......It's not a new or "millennial" phenomenon."

You think Men didn't shoot other Men dead over nonsensical reasons in "your generation"....Buahh you make me laugh

Copy and paste when I said anything of what you said. Copy and paste when I said any of this is new. Humor me.

What are you talking about Spade never said people around my age started a trend of being overemotional and using guns to solve our problems. Why do you assume he is talking about millennials?

They have a few more pacifiers to keep them in line today, but at least they're putting on a show for us this year.

Seriously though, I'm much further right than any TPer. I know exactly why crime dropped.

Chicago has 45 murders so far this month through 9/23. It will pass 50 for the month. Chicago had 50 murders in August as well.

There have been 274 people shot in the last 23 days in Chicago. Or about 12 people shot a day.

That's just nuts. I suppose a heat map of the Chicago murders would show some neighborhoods faring much worse than others. So sad indeed.
