This is very tough. I really like Milwaukee for its location and easy city layout. Detroit is getting better, but I would choose Milwaukee.
Spokane, WA or Lexington, KY?
I prefer the location of Lexington but there's a lot of things I like about Spokane more. Climate is a big one, plus it's just a bigger city. I don't think I could live in either but Spokane is my pick.

Fort Wayne, IN or Cincinnati, OH?
Fort Wayne is my second favorite city after Carmel in Indiana. I would choose Cincinnati because it is making slow improvements. I have good memories of spending summers and holidays there with family.

I've never been to either but I at least have some secondhand experience with Evansville and know it has some cool neighborhoods. Plus I'm far more familiar with IN than KS.
