But the thing is, even in neighborhoods with vacant properties, you'll still have inhabited properties in the mix and some of them are even new. It can be quite a contrast.
And many of those neighborhoods are still vibrant, although it might not be the type of vibrancy you prefer or are used to.
The neighborhoods that are being referred to are in the Minority, so how are they getting so much attention?
I don't know what it is but I tend to agree with eschaton's thoughts re: Miami, despite density numbers. Something about the urban fabric of generally northern cities by comparison just seems to have more character to it, and an overall more urban feel.
Miami have Wynwood, Brickwell/Downtown, Little Havana, Miami Beach, Edgewater, Design District, Bal Habour, Coral Gables, Midtown
Miami Beach, Coral Gables and Bal Harbor are outside of the city. Wynwood isn't all that urban and midtown is the combination of Wynwood and Edgewater.
