PACE bus system over the U.S. census?? Because I remember when i brought in census estimates in an earlier "discussion," Osito57 claimed that they could not be accurate because they were "sampling exercises" and not real data. lmao.
Hmmm, I'm pretty sure Los Angeles is rated the most polluted in the nation...
Edit: According to this list, Chicago is #9 in short-term particle pollution. However, it's not in the Top ten for Ozone pollution or year-round particle pollution.
This list doesn't have Chicago in the top ten for any of their categories.
Finally, this Forbes List doesn't have Chicago in the Top Ten for the overall most polluted cities. Los Angeles comes in at #1.
Also, your other link says the Chicago metro area is home to the fourth fastest growing county in the country: US Census Press Releases (http://www.census.gov/Press-Release/www/releases/archives/population/013426.html - broken link)

Page 76 of the PACE bus link! Everyone else seems to be able to see it but you!
Interestingly, in the report you cite from pace, they predict population growth in Chicago to reach 3.1 million by 2030, but as I mentioned earlier, it looks like Chicago has already reached the 3 million mark. Again, thanks.
