I love Chicago, but the it's no match for LA, as far as being #2 in this country today.

Lol. Technically speaking, is Welsey Snipes and Lena Horne the same race?? No, but they both share African heritage to varying degrees and in the African experience. African Ameircans have a lot of mixture, so no, it's not a pure race but more of an ethnic group in reality. And Hispanic is definitely not a race..

True. Plus LA may be large but it's more spread out and doesn't have anywhere near the dense urban feel that Chicago does..or even San Francisco for that matter.

That's my point!! Black-American, Afro-Hispanic (also hispanic), Afro-Caribbean, Nigerian-American, Ghanaian-American, Ethiopian-American are all examples of ethnic groups that all have African ancestry, and belong to the black race.

It feels more like a collection of smaller cities.

Don't try to ignore the truth because you were proved otherwise.

Scientifically speaking there is no such thing as "race"... it is just something we created to categorize people...

"In the social sense, race is a reality. In the scientific sense it is not."
