How is the West Boulevard area, around w96 street? A friend of mine is moving there and asked me to be his partner in a cheap fixer upper.

Agreed. We wouldn't need anything that large either. We've been thinking we'd prefer a place downtown. Being able to give it a trial run for a few months would be ideal.

A smaller place is just fine, but that style home fits our tastes. We actually have a piece of furniture from my wife's side (Cinci) that is circa "George Washington era" and is some type of corner cabinet with wooden screws. I'd love to find an older place that is in very good condition, but probably 1500 sq. ft. is plenty. I'd rather have money to spend outside the home:
