Which rivalry in the SEC do you think is the best?

I think Alabama-Auburn rivalry (Iron Bowl) is the best in the SEC followed by Florida-Georgia, MS State-Ole Miss, and Arkansas-LSU.

I heard an interesting quote about Alabama-Tennessee rivalry but I didn't quite understand it.

Why do Alabama fans call Tennessee fans convicts? Is it a joke or something related to history on Tennessee's part?

objectively , it is probably Auburn - Alabama.

LSU - Arkansas and Alabama - Tennessee are both under rated.

overrated, would be Ole Miss - Miss St and Georgia - Auburn.

in my opinion... my favorite rivalry, by far, is Georgia-South Carolina, especially in recent years.

Tennessee vs Florida rivalry is my all time favorite.... besides that I would say Alabama vs Auburn....no other rivalries within the conference can compare to these two. Georgia vs Auburn is another good one...named the "Oldest Rivalry in the Deep South".

I agree that Miss. State-Ole Miss is overrated.

I grew up watching the intense rivalry in the state of MS especially with Mom being Ole Miss and Dad being MSU.

That's the big reason I'm not interested in attending those two schools plus it's too rural.

Anyway, I've been checking out Arkansas and Tennessee (leaning more towards UT).

Arkansas has rabid fans while UT Orange runs deep so I'm pleased with school spirit of both along with a program of my interest there also.

Spurrier vs. Fulmer and especially when Peyton Manning was at UT.

I dont know about Florida-Georgia; I think it is a little overrated...is it really a rivalry when one team (Florida) basically wins all the time?

I totally agree! UT went downhill since QB Peyton Manning left. Well, it was about time to fire Fulmer due to his last few seasons; however, UT could have hired better coach than Dooley, IMHO.

That's a good thought. I guess Georgians want to get away for parties and beaches in Florida. LOL!
