It's been floating around recently, but the rumor today is that a deal has been reached. Urban Meyer will be the head coach at Ohio State next year. If this end up being true how long before Ohio State wins a BCS Title, or will they ever win a BCS Title under him?

I don't think they'll win a title. Ohio State always finds a way to lose to someone in the conference, and conference losses prevent everyone but members of the SEC from making it to the BCS Championship Game.

I also see Urban bolting the instant Braxton Miller either leaves for the NFL or graduates. It'll be Florida post-Tebow all over again.

I also hope he realizes how hard it will be to please the fans in Columbus. If he thought Gainesville was bad...

Urban Meyer to be Ohio State Buckeyes' football coach, sources tell Plain Dealer | cleveland.com

And there we go. This should be REAL interesting.

Don't see how OSU is any less stressful then working at the Swamp.

And to the OP, for the love of god, never cite Bleacher Report for ANYTHING.

Typical Buckeye and Big 10 fan blaming the SEC for their own shortcomings...

Losers...

The SEC shouldn't be mentioned in this thread. Sad...

You're way off in your interpretation of my comment.

I'm not a "Big 10" fan, I'm a fan of Ohio State, nothing more.

I didn't misinterpret anything... it's pretty straight forward what you said. More like the other way around if you think I didn't call you a buckeye fan.

nonetheless... Good luck with urban

Point taken in regards to the Bleacher Report.
And I think Urban Meyer will have his hands full, the fans in Columbus will expect nothing less than for Urban Meyer to work magic from day one. And IMO I just don't see that happening.

The timing is perfect because i could not take another poor year. With this one year, Michigan is feeling confident and already started disrespecting "The Ohio State University" by calling us only "Ohio." We've got to get our mojo back.
