Would you say housing is about the same in Montrose? I would imagine temps to be about the same. I see GJ has temps in the 90 - 100s like Tulsa but wtout the humidity I guess. The cold may not feel as cold wtout the humidity as well.

The best way to do real estate price comparisons is to visit realtor dot com and use the same criteria for both locations. Winter temperatures in Grand Junction are much colder than the winter temperatures in Virginia Beach where I spent 16 winters. However, since the air is dry and the sky is SUNNY the overall comfort level is much the same. Having sunshine every day makes winter far more bearable for me. I'd rather have a dry, sunny 20 degree day than a damp, cloudy 45 degree day. many blessings...Franco |
