Well, that's just crazy that you flatlanders are seeing color before us. My husband rode through Golden Gate Park on Sunday and said no color was happening there either. I bet by the end of the week we should start seeing some.

My husband would be in heaven if there were colors starting to show by this weekend!

breaksraver13... I love the weather there! We go to Colorado at least once a year to escape the heat here. I just wish we could afford to live there.

We're seeing a tiny bit of yellow on the Aspens here in Bailey, and along a good portion of the front range. He's bound to see a little bit of color, but it will be very little. I wonder how RMNP is looking?

I absolutely love RMNP any time, colors or not. I am sure his family will take a drive through while there.

There are several live webcams in Estes Park but none appear to show any aspen: Estes Park Colorado cams-live cameras. The one I've seen in RMNP is the Longs Peak cam and doesn't seem to show aspen. The Forest Service has a fall color report website but there were no reports as of 9/5: USDA Forest Service, Rocky Mountain Region - 2007 Fall Colors

My husband and I were just there on Monday. No sign of fall colors yet.

That's weird, we've had some color for for almost two weeks now. I would think RMNP would have more color than us! I guess Mother Nature has her own plans.

Crazy isn't it? What part of the state do you live?

We're in Bailey which is off 285; 15 mins or so from Kenosha Pass.

Its too early. Later in September, you'll see more color.
