I think I'm pretty easy to please, but I like the new phrase/tag line. I think this chick is dead-on when talking about Columbia: "As for the shift from “The New Southern Hot Spot” to “The Real Southern Hot Spot,” says Mensink, “We’re not new anymore.” She says it also captures the fact that Columbia is “a laid back, relaxed, friendly genuine place” with “no pretense."

How about Soda City, Famously Hot and the Real Southern Hot Spot... LOL

I actually really like Soda City and the play on Cola. Nashville is Music City, Charlotte is the Queen City...

I think it is quirky and a neat identifier, that makes people wonder why it's called that.

House prices increasing, homes selling faster in Greater Columbia - ColaDaily.com | You need the news, not the paper

Home sales up, and at higher prices around the Metro area.

Tons of crappy housing developments going up in Irmo, Ballentine, and Chapin. Tons of growth and seems like a hot market in my opinion.

Bluff Road and is slowly transforming from an no mans land into an actual neighborhood. The arrival of the student housing, apartments and retail is making it more of a neighborhood especially with destination attractions like this bowling alley....

Quaker Steak & Lube, Starbucks, bowling alley opens on Bluff Road in Columbia | The State

I just call Columbia "Cola." Rolls off the tongue nicely.
