Ive read all of the posts here. Question - I am with a developer in Atlanta Georgia. We have 20 parcels of land across from the Ag Center that we are looking at developing. We have put Brennen Outfitters in and are looking at many options in regards to retailers, restaurants etc. Is this location one that most of you commenting here would drive to and if so; what would you like to see in terms of food, stores etc. I have seen Costco, Sports store (specifically Academy Sports), Some type of Market, Trader Joes, Mid level restaurants but what else is there a need for and would people from Macon travel to this location?

Quick question, but what is the AG center and where is the land located exactly?

Honestly - it depends what part of Columbus your development would be.

Having lived in Macon for a few years, I don't think your average regional store is going to get many customers from Macon. Atlanta is too "easy" a drive for most of Macon up from 75. 96 is not a "bad" drive at all, but Atlanta is a faster trip.

Getting customers from Auburn is much more probable.

This isn't in Columbus, I believe it's in Perry, right?

Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter | Celebrating 25 Years!

Agricultural Center: 401 Larry Walker Parkway, Perry Georgia

The development is across the interstate.

Perry is nowhere near Columbus. It's in South Georgia off of 75.
