No.

From what I understood it will be built into the current wings.

Right, cause I did peep skip say “it’s going to be much taller”…that could only mean the NEW structure is going to be taller than the government center correct? Or did I misinterpret.

That’s how interpreted it as well. Let’s hope that’s what he meant.

That's not what he meant though. The original plans were to build a judicial complex that included a tower. Now that plan had to be axed because of rising construction cost.

This building will probably look like the MCSD building on Macon rd....with a lot less added details.

Oh ok. Well that’s disappointing, especially with that price tag.

Waited a bit too long. This process should have started in 2020 when everybody was at home and construction cost was at its cheapest. We have to praise our private sector more because the city/public can't seem to get it done right.

Dang! That’s very disappointing. No where in that rendering do you get “judicial complex”…looks like a CSU college building honestly.

Yeah, I’m still convinced renovating the current tower was the much better/cost efficient option but this is what voters wanted I guess.

I thought it was originally a new tower and judicial complex. Since now they’re just going to build a tower and scrap the judicial complex by saving the wings, what I interpreted from that interview was that the planned tower is now going to be taller and the cost savings is saving the wings instead of adding the complex.

He said “as opposed to”. So I’m guessing five stories with them keeping the wing.
