Most of the reason we keep going blue, IMO, is because the Independents in this state are turned off by the social conservative politicians in Washington pandering to the evangelicals. That's scarier than a tax & spend Democrat IMO.

I don't doubt it, but the funny thing is most establishment Repubs who have run in Ct were either socially moderate or somewhat liberal.

I am not sure if there should be an uproar over this at all since its just a proposal. I do not believe they will dare to remove the property tax credit. Even if they raise sales tax Connecticutians have the luxury of tax free delivery from Amazon, something NY do not have.
