That link has been posted before. It doesn’t change anything. Connecticut’s GDP is among the very top in the country. That is still a fact. We’ve gone over this before. We can’t have large growth in GDP because we aren’t a high growth state. WHO CARES? It means little when you already at or near the top. Jay

Interesting article on why Connecticut has such a high cost of living. It’s pretty simple really. It comes down to desirability and location. Being located in the country’s largest economic corridor and between two of our country’s biggest and most important cities is a start. Add in the desirable amenities like high quality education and healthcare and natural and manmade beauty and character. Nice. Jay

Oh my God, that was my impression too but I thought I was being an east coast snob. I have a family friend that lived there for over 30 years who agreed with me as well. That’s why he retired back here in Connecticut. Jay
