I mean state really needs to cut spending and make CT enticing again. I mean that stadium on Hartford was a boondoggle does CT really need 4 baseball teams. Should figure a long term plan of lowering taxes in 5 year's, reducing the debt, and only do infrastructure problems that need immediate fixing (Bridges not the boondoggle of replacing the Mix Master.) Entice more businesses to come to CT, lower commercial and residential property tax. Increase job's in the technical field, medical research, and healthcare.

The Governor needs to do something with Unions in state jobs and change benefits/pay/pension system up.

Needs to reduce all state college's tuition cost by 5%.

I approve CT to put tolls only use for transportation to improve infrastructure purpose but can't really trust really the government. Tolls will be at Greenwich, 95 at Rhode Island Border, I-84 Danbury/NY border, I-91 Enfield/Mass border.

We need highway, bridges, transportation improvements.

No with a workforce of over 1.5 mill, it is a .1 to .3% issue dependent on rounding too. (and retirements will cut the 2-4 down)

Now, Aetna is looking at getting out of Connecticut.

Since Malloy took over, GE left, UTC had another division HQ move out of state and its looking aggressively for a place to move, two bilionairies have moved out of state, and Florida is wooing Yale University to come south to save its endowment.

One party rule (Democrats) has the state circling the drain.

As mentioned a few posts ago, Bristol Myers Squibb is also leaving.

With innovators and tech moving elsewhere and/or avoiding CT, unjustified tax levels, huge cuts to CT's precious "great hospitals" and other regions catching up or exceeding our education @ fractions of the cost, the demographics of CT will change tremendously over the next 20 years.

We can thank the state leaders for their hubris and complacency. That goes to everyone on here too who always says "hah, that will never happen". Complacency led to mediocrity and will soon lead to destruction.

I saw a great documentary on Wal Mart years ago which stressed their execs are perpetually paranoid w/worry, and they are now a $400 bill world leading corp.

Geno Auriemma is perpetually worried-11 championships. 4 straight.

Complacency does kill. Many of Ct's hqs moved from other states which were complacent.
