Light fluffy half inch this morning in Hartford's southeast suburbs. Just enough to be a nuisance to clear off the car in the morning.

Yeah here too. I think its the 4th time this year it's snowed with temps in the teens. How many times are we going to get mountain type snows? Pretty amazing. What a winter so far. Cold and snowy.

Just to give you an idea how CT missed out on this event... Atlantic City with over half foot, and the MA Capes getting hammered. What happened was the low pressure is like 600 miles OTS but the precip shield is amazingly near the coast and the heavy band setup from ACY to the MA coast so you can see how CT missed out.. Look at the darker blue returns

Let me know if the picture isn't coming through. Not sure why it wouldn't.

Just changed wiper blades on both cars, I froze my fingers. I Guess I didn't expect it to feel like single digits out there. It's like relentless this air mass without our usual 3-5 day warm up breaks in recent years.

Winds gusting to 20mph from the WNW

I hear ya...but feel cheated as far as snow in the Hartford area so far. Was talking to someone in Philly over the phone on Monday...she was amazed to hear that the ground was bare up here!

That's true. My statement was more for my area. lol I was talking to someone in the Windsor Locks area and they were saying they have grass showing. meanwhile the beaches down here have snow cover with 1 foot drifts. LOL The coast is at it again. Same story for past 5 years. Strange.

BDR snow depth at 7am yesterday was still 4" while BDL shows 1".

In fact I may make a graph on snow depth. That is interesting. Check out BDL all month.

And look at BDR

Read that 6 and 1 in NYC as a 61 for a brief and fleeting moment.

Made me miss spring just a little more. :|
