During the last big one there were a lot of outages. Branches and trees falling on lines. I was without power for a couple days

Bought a couple gas cans worth of fuel for the generator last night. Hoping it instead ends up in my mower this spring.

Wow, latest NAM would be a disaster from NYC to Boston.

Nam shows bullseye for NYC and with 30"
Gfs shows less with 20-24"
Canadian says 6-12". Lol

I hate looking at models even this close. Radar preferred and other stuff to see what's going on right now. Models are projections even the short hi res ones. Actual is always best.

But always fun to keep track of what is saying what

I'd post but NAM is known for crazy totals right before the storm. The track is like the Euro though.

Well, flight Wednesday is cancelled. I rebooked for Thursday morning and extended my stay in the Caribbean by 3 days. I'm already off work today through Wed so I don't have to worry about going in. Just went to the grocery store to buy snacks, filled my propane tank and gas can for the blower. Got wine for the lady and some dogfish for myself. Let's just hope public works can keep up with the snow because I WILL GET OUT BY THURSDAY.

Be safe, everyone, and try to enjoy some quality time with your loved ones.
