Heavy Snow in Stratford it had to be 4-6 inches of new snow because heavy snow bands last two hours.

Wallingford right now. I'm starting to think they underestimated this storm and played it down to a more rain mix event.

They should have stuck with the original estimates, they prob got scared of another bust. Roads were def worse than "Blizzard 2015"

Complete grid-lock. Fulton Ave/Hempstead Turnpike is a parking lot -- water refroze, then a couple inches of snow.

stopped snowing sometime this morning, started up again with sleet after 12p, soon turned to all snow and it's been snowing hard ever since. here's some shots off my balcony (WField) showing the lack of visibility..

Not to jump the gun, but how is Thursday looking? Just saw 2 estimates on another page. Amount seemed a little ridiculous to me. I trust the people on this thread, so that's why I ask.

LOL...just as the back edge of the snow is upon us, NWS BOX issues a special weather statement with revised snow totals of 15 - 18" and local 20" amounts!
