Looking at weather.com this morning, it says 2-6" for East Lyme now, and 1-3" for my old town of Avon

Blizzard Watches up for NYC & in DC, MD, NJ, VA & Winter Storm Warnings inside 17 states incl northern Mississippi

Nothing for CT yet

Forecast for Milford.. they have 5-9" right now. They Have 6-12" for Greenwich

Snow starts before sunrise Saturday morning but I assume will be light to start. Then snows all day. Ends Sunday and we might see a beautiful sunset Sunday!

Don't think NWS pulled the Blizzard trigger yet for Southern CT but could very well do so. Havent heard much talk about coastal flooding either but winds, High tide, and snow could cause some erosion and street flooding at the shores.

I personally don't see a huge impact regarding the flooding. Get your generators ready though.

Cam.......
So.....safe (as in roads covered) to run out in the AM? Have a vet appointment in Shelton and need to use the Merritt.......not an emergency so wondering if I should just reschedule and relax at home. Or still too early to tell?

No to Southern Vermont. They will miss it completely.

Over half foot for White Plains. I'm thinking 8" right now. Still have 48hrs to go

If not an emergency reschedule. That's what I would do. This way you can relax, watch it fall and post the radar here or something. . Better for vet to know now then in the morning.

Thats weird, why would Putnam County NY have a WSW and not FFC with more snow forecasted?

Weather.com has downgraded their snow amount now - East Lyme is now 2-4 inches and Avon is less than an inch. That's within the past few hours
