what about lebanon....is it upscale or is that the boonies area... is it too far to get to decent stores on a regular basis...thanks..looked beautiful..I love CT...too many great towns to pick from! But I can't afford Ffld county anymore....

Lebanon, in northern New London county is very rural- I would not say it was in the 'boonies'- since more then adequate shopping is in Norwich 10 miles to the southeast - and Willimantic-7.5 miles away to the north. Colchester 7 miles to the south west offers some shopping as well.

The area is indeed very pretty- a bit sedate- but thats what most folks come to the town for.
