NWS Bridgeport only hit 42 F...the coldest daily high since March 19th - 8 months ago. This is 8 F below normal high for today. I forgot what the lows 40's F felt like. Tried to go outside with sweat jacket and couldn't do it. Had to dig out the heavy jacket, lol.

It looks NWS is forecasting some moderation Sunday (mid 40's F)....and more moderation (and rain) on Monday (50's F)...

Both Bridgeport and Bradley are now running 1.9 F below normal. While this is not huge, it could be even more if the last days of the month are below normal. So it looks like November 2023 will end with below normal temps at both CT NWS stations.

The Arctic Hounds will be released next week! By Tuesday, expect wind chills in the Teens and 20s, gusts over 30 MPH. Maybe chance for some snow flurries??

Look where the rain/snow line is... Down at the Gulf Coast states. That means there is deep cold in the Northeast.

510 Thickness is COLD

Kansas has more snow than Connecticut.

Loop past 4 hours. Enjoy your Sunday... I would be if I was in the MidWest today

After some mild temps today (for the final days of November) in the low/mid 50's F....looks like two COLD days Tue and Wed. Many of us will be lucky to crack 40 F. Then looks like the deep cold moves out... and temps moderate some:

Both NWS stations are now running about 2 F below normal.

What kind of airmass will be over us tomorrow? Look west.. These are the 12pm temps. Wont last long though. In and out. But heads up for some snow squalls and streamers from Lake Ontario or Lake Erie

No doubt a big reversal is coming...

Bridgeport hit 53 F today, while New Haven hit 54 F...but temps now falling fast. On Tuesday a total reversal - most of the models are predicting that highs in the Tri-State area stay in the mid/upper 30's F, while points west in the Midwest/Ohio Valley stay in the mid 20's F. No doubt this will be the coldest day since early March for many:
