Yes, that's why.

Same reason they had their ridiculous curfew in Ferguson that began at midnight. You want a real curfew, than it begins at sundown, not midnight.

The couldn't get it under control for several nights, because a midnight curfew is pointless, the fun has already begun.

The powers that be want trouble, it takes the focus off other issues.

This thing is lost and it's not coming back. There are people who have decided that facts and evidence are irrelevant and if an indictment isn't returned they're going to riot regardless of what the grand jury learned during the presentation of the actual evidence. The 90 sec or so that Wilson and Brown were in contact with each other is all that matters not decades of grievances, some real and some not. Rule of law has to be specific or it's worthless. We don't hand out Indictments like Lifetime Oscars to say "Hey sorry we passed you over way back when". These people who have already made up their minds have made this grey uncertain un-videoed event their metaphor for all police brutality against black youth and it's a bad horse to back. Because of the case's ambiguity (and not because of institutional racism) it's very likely an indictment won't be returned so now the race warriors have put themselves in a corner and will feel their way through it with violence instead of thinking it out.

I find it humorous that the family is calling for 4 1/2 minutes dedicated to Michael Brown BEFORE protesting. Just silly nonsense!
