None of us are saying a mother shouldn't breast feed on a plane. We're saying do it discreetly.

But "discreetly" offends many liberal-minded people. They want everything in our faces whether we like it or not.

Nice behavior from those who demand tolerance.

When you share your space with others you don't get to do whatever you want. Sorry everyone.
I could not have said it better.^^^^

We've been through this. The woman was crammed into the center seat of an airplane with her husband beside her, blocking the view. The indiscreet would be anyone craning his neck to watch.

I'm simply going by your own logic which is that breastfeeding is natural so should be done openly in public. As I & others have mentioned, there are other actions that are natural as well. According to your logic, they should be done in public no problem. Live by your words.

What? How can you even possibly try to make this into a political issue?

I don't mind nudeness in general but popping out a boob in public is just bad manners. She could have breastfed and put a little blanket on her breast.

The flight attendant was a jerk, too. He could have handled it better.

Why the heck does this even matter? “A male flight attendant named Keith walked up to our row and said to my husband (loudly, so that everyone around could hear), ‘are you two together?’ What a dope. This is a simple case of don't look and you won't be offended and what the heck can you see aisles back. Power play on the guy's part?

The standard is not what offends your sensibilities, but what norms society has put in place.

Anyone man over 16 years old in a tank top offends, men over 70 in tightie whities offend me, obese people in Spandex offend me...... and so on, but the world need not conform to my individual tastes.

Then stay home. When you are in public you are subject to scrutiny.

You mean like not bathing on a regular basis and not knowing what deodorant is?

No, not according to my logic, it is according to your twisted logic, where you reckon urinating on a plane seat is the equivalent to a mother sitting quietly breastfeeding her hungry child.

I say breastfeeding is how hungry children are supposed to eat, do you not understand this? Do you not understand that infants have different feeding requirements than adults do?

You may want to rethink how you post your words if they're going to come back & bite you like this.
