Paterson, NJ is a crap hole "town" fighting hard to catch up with Newark and Camden.
Then again, one could live in a town in Somerset County (county always tends to fall within the top 10 richest counties in the US) that was rated the 5th best place to live in the US a few years back....and have an incumbent town council member who raised her hood rat kid the right way. So what he got arrested (after fleeing) for dealing guns and drugs out of her house?

If you commit a crime (any crime, from what it seems like on CD), should the response automatically be death? Yeesh, glad some of you aren't in charge.

No, mischievousness is breaking a window or stealing some candy. This bum is a thug. What if that was your father or grandfather? What if he assaulted your mother or daughter. Still thinking just mischievous?
Well, I'm sort of an old man. It could happen to me. I still wouldn't advocate an illegal response, thus making me as bad (or in this case worse) than the original perpetrator. He needs to suffer the full extent of the law. And if laws covering such crimes need to be made stricter, than so be it.
Yes if you are a thug I feel that your life holds zero value. I feel that the world is a better place without thugs. He could have easily killed this old man. He is the type of kid that will kill someone. After he serves a couple of years in prison for what he did I have little doubt that he will continue a life full of crime!!
And yet you have excused most of the illegal actions by various LEOs discussed in this forum.
