Gotta love it! Hilarious! I can see some pistol packing fellow Texan shooting at that Fu*(er from inside the house and accidentally killing his neighbor!
Well we should take proactive measures then to halt this. We should ban any materials that could possibly used to make such a gag. We should ban plastic, steel, aluminum, wood, rubber, canvas, cotton, paint (to make it look real)etc...
Oh, and did I say that I'd rather have that thing peering through our window than a control freak biddy-bat?
Halloween used to be for little children -- a time for them to dress up and get free candy. It should be taken away from the adults and returned to the kids.
Quote of the day
Grown people dressing up on Halloween is more creepier than the "Peeper Creeper"

I've known plenty of people who have been out of control and used poor judgement. I'm related to some of them.
I didn't say anything about banning it.
The whole point of the thread is that North American retailer Home Depot is pulling it off the shelves, which is an effective ban and it's blowing the "problem" way out of proportion.
People use poor judgment all the time. Yet rather than banning skateboards, motorcycles, and beer, we try to teach young people how to be responsible. Obviously they don't always listen, but hopefully they learn.

Well lets be honest, this item was designed especially to use to scare people. If you watch the video, the inventor talks about how to properly use it, and it is meant to scare people in their own homes.
Not selling something isn't banning it. Not the same thing by a mile.

Not selling something isn't banning it, but biddies on the warpath, deciding what others should be able to purchase by complaining to merchandisers that a product is being sold, and demanding that it be removed, means to thinking people, that they WANT it banned. After all, if THEY think it's offensive, no one should be allowed to purchase it. That's the point.
