I've watched the video several times, and it's quick, but it doesn't look like he's running off with her purse, is he? I don't see anything in his hands although maybe I'm missing something.

If he doesn't even have anything, she's just angry at him, I think that's attempted murder on her part.

I would feel a little differently if he actually grabbed her purse and run with it.

Maybe she shouldn't leave her purse in the car. Maybe she shouldn't run over people. Two wrongs don't make a right. What does her being pregnant have to do with anything?

Wow. I think she totally overreacted. He was stealing or attempting to steal, not at gunpoint, so *she* (I'm not talking about her stuff, just her person)was not in imminent danger. Her reaction was over the top and she could have very easily killed him, killed an innocent bystander(s), and/or herself and her unborn child.

Not that I don't understand why she did.

And did anyone else find the huge tatoo on his leg (a cross) to be , I don't know, just a tad ironic?

When https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_of_Eric_Garner was killed, one of the responses was that a man should not get a "death sentence" for selling cigarettes.

Right? Wrong?

So here we have someone using deadly force for purse snatching; what if she had killed him?

Right? Wrong?

It goes both ways.

Should have said she was trying to follow him to get his description and accidentally hit him because he was not running straight.

Well, I support her a lot more than I support him.

People work hard for what they have. I'll be damned if I want to see a guy run off with it, while I can still move to stop him.

Good for this woman, though it's too bad she's getting in trouble over this. I'm glad she tried to run over this piece of garbage.

If more thieves/scum-bags thought that people would defend themselves from being robbed, maybe less thieves would try pulling this crap.

I only wish that I had had the presence of mind to run him over with my car. He was a criminal and deserved it. I was too scared to do anything but try to get to a place where I felt safe.
Very sorry to hear that this happened to you - terrible. Thieves like this are scum & do not deserve to be walking the earth.

Good for her! We need more people like her.

If you don't want to get run over by angry citizens, don't commit crimes against citizens. Too many have gone soft in the head towards criminals.
