Thanks..........I woke up yesterday with all my clocks changed, DOH.

It takes just a few minutes each time but over the years it adds up.

Just wait. When you are on your deathbed you will be thinking, why oh why can't I have those 10 hours of time I spent resetting my clocks back again?

Oh yes, the Sunshine Protection Act passed the senate unanimously, and the House stalled it. It would have taken effect this November.

It's a completely unnecessary annoyance. I mean, maybe every fall we should start driving on the left side of the road like they do in the UK. You know, just because. Then we can switch back to driving on the right side in the spring.

Over 70% of Americans polled said they want to keep DST. Maybe we need to find out what's going on in the House that they won't pass the Sunshine Protection Act while it sailed through the Senate.

This maybe is a bigger deal for northerners and those in the northeast particularly. Turning the clock back we get dark by 4:30 pm, that is just late afternoon not even night time. It's cold AND dark. Surprised there aren't mass suicides, but I imagine more SAD than other areas of the US which aren't as dark so early. Having that extra hour would help quite a bit with transitioning to the long cold winter.

I love it. Both ways. I don't mind the hour either way. It's the change I like.
