It's a completely unnecessary annoyance. I mean, maybe every fall we should start driving on the left side of the road like they do in the UK. You know, just because. Then we can switch back to driving on the right side in the spring.
My favorite post ever, on daylight saving time discussions.
"Daylight Savings Time" didn't start until 1966 ~ a decision from the President. His reason for doing so has not been valid for a long, long time and should be changed back to the way it was. Everyone despises the time change twice a year.
Your history facts are faulty...look it up. First started during WWI. Brought back in the 70s.
And not everyone despises it. As I posted earlier, I like the twice a year change. I like the longer light evenings in summer, and I like it shutting down dark by 4:30 in winter.
Shouldn't there be a question mark after this thread title? I've lived in places where they observe Daylight Savings Time, in places where they didn't, and in places where they were arguing about whether to have it or get rid of it.
I've taken to just observing the skies. If its dark, it's probably night. If it's sunny, it's probably daytime. That's close enough for me. I'm retired, my wage slave days are forever over and I get there when I get there. No stress.
It’s dark ALREADY, I do not like it not one little bit.
Move clocks a half hour, and call it quits!
