According to the Miami-based ambulance chaser (Nicholas Gerson) the two women have hired, one of the drugs the two women tested positive for was cocaine, which typically isn't used to "spike drinks."

Again, they only refused to go to the hospital (where the rape kit would be administered) because the cruise ship told them they couldn't wait for them. Then they are stuck there with no passports, and having to arrange/pay for their own way home.
What they are angry with Carnival about, was failing to report the new warnings issued by the State Department about sex crimes in the Bahamas. Of course they stand to benefit by casting doubt on their story, it makes Carnival look bad. As well as the Bahamas.
Even if they were drunk at 10am. so what? That was the purpose of the excursion, of vacation. Lots of people drink to excess on vacation. It doesn't make rape less of a crime.
They were not tested in a timely manner. We ALL can see the video taken about an hour before the encounter, and they had drinks in their hands, and were laughing and staggering saying they had had other drinks prior that one in the video.
I'm not going to get into a big back and forth. They said in a talk show that they had one drink, but the video they took down said they had had several.
They were ploughed, but are choosing to pretend they weren't.

Again though, what difference should that make? It's okay to rape drunk girls? And what of the drugs found in their system, and the bruises?
Nicholas I. Gerson is a personal injury attorney whose practice consists of exclusively representing plaintiffs in serious, catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. Mr. Gerson focuses on auto, truck, and motor vehicle accidents, cruise ship accidents, maritime and marine related injuries, negligent security, premises liability, victims of crime, and other complex litigation.
If they lied about their alcohol intake, what else are they lying about?
There’s no evidence yet that they lied at all. Alcohol can stay in your blood for 12 hours. How long afterward were they tested? And the nurse practitioner was convinced they were drugged, not drunk, and verified the bruising that wasn’t there when they got on the boat for the excursion.

They claimed to have had one drink, but the video clearly told a different story.
No one's disputing that they had drugs in their system. That doesn't mean that their drinks were spiked, though.

Who in this universe spikes drinks with cocaine?
Police: "How much have you had to drink tonight?
Driver: "I had a drink."
Yeah, it's never ONE drink.
Not saying their story is completely fabricated, but why lie about how many drinks they had?
And cocaine in their system certainly does raise eyebrows.
That’s per some lawyer the poster himself called an ambulance chaser. I haven’t seen that on anything official.
"The poster himself?"
Anyway, the ambulance chaser isn't going to jeopardize his contingency payday by fabricating the contents of the toxicology report — which, as their counsel, he has undoubtedly seen. Again, he's not just "some lawyer," he's been retained by the alleged victims to handle their upcoming civil suit against Carnival.
