I don't let my daughter sleep over at a friend's house unless I know the parents personally and they are my friends.

That wouldn't tip you off to a predator. Most predators are people in the kids lives that they know and trust. This guy lived a normal life, good job, probably coached sports, etc. You wouldn't know even if you lived next door and got together with them 3 times a week.
His wife is a 4th grade teacher in a local school (Japanese language immersion classes).
In this tabloid article, it says that the husband arranged the sleepovers with the other parents because the wife doesn't speak English. This makes it sound like she was still living there.

I think they should be examined. The one who drank both shakes appears to know she was drugged. The one who didn’t drink any saw the others, so knew they were drugged. These girls will talk to each other I imagine.
I would bring them all together, talk with them as a group, let them know what possibly happened and why you’d want them examined. Even if they don’t actually “remember” the possible sexual contact, they’ll know why they are being examined, so I would think it would be less traumatizing for them.
And if there was any sexual stuff going on, throw that guy away for as long as possible.

There are some truly sick people out there, this appears to be one of them.
But then I read that even after the girl's account, and the fact that the doctors did find evidence of them being drugged. The wonderful State of Oregon released this guy on 50,000 bail while he awaits trial.

This happened in August. Wouldn't do any good to examine them now.
Whether they were examined or not is between them, their parents, and their health care providers and certainly isn't the business of anyone on City-Data.

That's what they're saying on local social media (that she was always napping and/or appeared tired all the time). I know, social media, but I suspect there may be some truth in this.

I have not heard that they obtained any search warrants:
that should have happened the same night - next morning as the girls were diagnosed with the benzos in their blood that night/early morning.
The police were allegedly called to the hospital the next day - and the report says that at least one of the girls still couldn’t walk unassisted - as she was woozy and had slow slurred speech, her eyes were closing.
I am stunned the police didn’t obtain warrants right there: they could have determined the source of benzos and who knows what else he had put in those smoothies for them…
… and yes - his electronics and searches…should have been investigated - he did have an ample time alone after 1 girl left to take the photos of sleeping others and even do other things as well
