I think you will have a fine time with your tablet. Did you get a cover for it or does it have one built in?
I'm glad I ordered a cover for my Kindle because I pop it in my purse and take it places with me if I think I will have to wait.

It rained here a couple of days ago and the wind was heavy. It blew a couple of branches off one of my trees and they landed in the yard. I just ignored them. I planned to cut them up this weekend (yeah, right ). I don't have to now because my yard man came yesterday to mow and trip and he made fast work of the branches. I love him!
Not really sure what it comes with. Daughters came today, it's killing me not to open it but I promised. She'll be home in a few hours. I agree about the cover. I plan on getting one so I can do exactly that. You just never know when your going to get stuck waiting anymore.

I picked my first cucumbers last night...the long kind.....delicious! Boy, I am really gettin' into this farmin' thang! There is a mouse out there though. I've seen him twice so tonight I am setting a sticky trap inside of the fenced-in garden area. I don't want him eating all the black and raspberries. The blacks don't have thorns, so he can easily get to those.

Keta, as far as your branches go, remember that movie, 'wait and they will come'? Well, you waited and your gardener came and probably did it in half the time!

And yep, you are right....Nightmare of Elm Street. Jason was in the Halloween series, huh. He wore the white hockey mask.

My Stella the Diva Cat died today. I really miss her but am so thankful that she did not suffer.
I have two other cats but all three of them were (are) special in different ways. I adopted Stella from a friend who was moving to Seattle a few years ago. Stella was already ten years old back then. She was a real beauty. Her face looked like a gorgeous Venician fan.

I'm heartbroken but as my favorite poet says: (in paraphrase) The amount of room we have in our hearts for joy is matched by the amount of room we have for sorrow.

I'm so sorry, Keta. You knew it was coming but it hurts all the same. She had a very good life with you, for this I am sure.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your Stella. Pets are like children. Each one is special in its own way.
